Shareaza & New Router

I upgraded my belkin router to 54MBPs. since update i haven't been able to use Shareaza and Internet at same time. it used to do this with old router but i can't remember how i fixed it, so far all i have tried is the usual opening 6346 in virtual server, as thats the port i use for shareaza. Shareaza runs fine at full speed and internet does too, but not at same time like they used too. Firefox just times out now.

Re: Shareaza & New Router

You need to ensure that Shareaza is not saturating the upload. That can happen all too easily if you are downloading a lot as there will be packet received messages being issued all the time. Play around with the shareaza connections settings.

Might be worth looking at the Shareaza forums on www.shareaza.com Looks like there's lots of support type things to try as little fixes.
