I accidently tapped enter as i was typing a webaddress after getting as far as www and i ended up on the ntl homepage 
i'm guessing they've put www in their dns or the proxies to goto the homepage then

i forgot to say i manually specified asfd 2 as my proxy.
using camino on my mac but does it in firefox on my pc as well

If you have ever been there before, then it's the autocomplete function that is doing this.
If www.ntlworld.com is first in the drop down list that appears as you type 'www', then if you then interrupt it and press enter, it will go to that page.

It can't be AutoComplete in FireFox as until I typed in http://www I'd not visited Yahoo.com at all. In fact, I'd cleared all FireFox's history data only the other day.

I've never been to www.www.com before, so it must be opera? thats the only thing me, druchii and snoopz have in common.

thats the thing im pretty sure ive never been the ntl page (without the www thing happening) before, and even if i did it was after i cleared my cache/history.etc
