ntl email accounts unresponsive

Hi guys and gals,
All of my ntl email accounts are not responding. It should be a blessing I know, no spam for me today

I tried to access the ntlworld site for server status, and its incredibly slow too. Everthing else is great even just downloaded a few crysis vids at full 4mb speed (first time ive ever had it happen full speed).
Outlook stalls with "Finding host..." and eventually times out. report says "no socket error"
NTL webmail refuses to connect too, fails with wrong username/password errors.

Anyone know about it , or share the same problems?

Just tried my webmail, and it worked fast, probably the fastest it's ever worked!!!!!

Just a technical hitch???

Pop connection of email definitely seems to be broken from here too (South Notts). No mention in the online Service Status. Can get the mail via webmail though too.

Pop accounts still not responding here, however webmail is working now.
At 1am its quite possible I had caps lock on or something equally as daft.

Everything else the same, all great. Just the ntlworld website incredibly slow and the email down for me.

I live in Nottingham. Internet connection is fine, but been struggling to get a connection to NTLs pop server since Friday morning (occasionally works). Also find ntlworld.com/webmail site to be very sluggish. All other websites fast as usual.

just tried it, pop server not responding - other accounts on different servers work fine.

Service Status page shows ntl are having problems in the Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Based on some of the posters to the thread, surrounding area is half the country

. tis nice to have them update the service status tho. Makes me feel all warm inside when they acknowledge a fault.
