Access to sites / Lan setting ???

Hi all

I am ahving problems accessing loads of sites............for example I can open www.bbc.c.uk but when I link some links I get ...............The page cannot be displayed

I checked Tools/internet options / connection/LAN setting/.........nothing is ticked ????

Could that be my problem but I am still confused if it is why I can access some sites !

Any ideas

Thanks

Mike

More likely to be a proxy issue I would think, nothing needs to be ticked on that screen unless you are specifying a proxy. Have you tried a different proxy?

The easiest way I found to swop proxies about is use SwitchProxy 1.4 as an add on with Firefox, just load it in and add a few Ntl proxies from the list to it, then it's a case of two clicks and you have changed the proxy

Re: Access to sites / Lan setting ???

Your default proxy will probably get sorted out, but you'll never know. One day just try it and see, by disabling the one you put in.
