NTL proxy caches for firefox +xyzproxy extension (and possibly others)
Ive taken the proxy list from here http://www.cableforum.co.uk/forum/article.php?a=10
and put it in a text file with the format required for the xyzproxy extension for firefox(it may work with any other program that can import a proxy list, i know switchproxy has a nicer UI but it cant import)
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1273/ for the extension.
This will then give you a nice list of all the proxy caches so if one is playing up you can pick another one quickly and easily.
Probably would also work with any other program that can import from a text file in the format server:port

Re: NTL proxy caches for firefox +xyzproxy extension (and possibly others)
I think ive found a tiny snag, problem is when xyzproxy sets the proxy it does so for all proticals not just HTTP so it tends to break cpanel access (and possibly other SSL webapps)

With the SwitchProxy extension, of course, you can select which protocol(s) the proxy is used for.

yes but i couldn't see an option to import proxy addresses from a text file. unless they've added it recently (or i missed it)

Don't think there is. But are you really going to use all those proxies?

maybe not in firefox but they are very good for bypassing waiting lines on megaupload/rapidshare espcially when used with rapgets proxy rotation feature.
Espcially as they seem determined to detect the proxy IP and not the users IP so therefore often tell you that your already downloading.

I don't suppose anyone has an updated version of this list? If so then I would really appreciate it if they were willing to share

There's a link to the local list in the top post. I've also posted a link to my list at the bottom of that, and I last updated it in February.
