Foscam and Virginmedia FTP settings

I have a Foscam camera which works fine for live video and sending e-mail alerts but when I try to use the FTP settings to send pictures to my Virginmedia webspace all I get is server error.
I can access my webspace via the internet but the recommended settings for FTP do not work.

Anybody have any ideas please

Re: Foscam and Virginmedia FTP settings

are you on your VM connection? Not sure but I thought you had to be to get the uploading to work?

Re: Foscam and Virginmedia FTP settings

Yes. I have a D-Link 615 router connected to my VM cable modem. I also forwarded FTP port 21 on the router but that made no difference.

I have now tried connecting to my webspace with an FTP program and it works OK but my Foscam still returns Server Error for anything I try
