pop/smtp Email stopped working today
Been using Thunderbird for year or two without issue, but today "Sending of password did not succeed ..." dialogs
VM status sites say no issues
Nothing changed in my setup
Checked VM help site ( re ntlworld address) says I should be using "pop3.ntlworld.com" but my setting is "pop.ntlworld.com" - and has been for ever and worked fine
anyway tried "pop3.xxxx" but no improvement

Anyone else with issues today ? or other suggestions please (in RG6 area)

Try and log into webmail.

No issues with email.

Thanks - that gave me the clue, since couldn't get in there either ( not that I ever use that route)

Something had changed - the other day I needed to top up my wifes VM payg phone - couldn't remember password so changed in on virgin mobile site

Never thinking it was an all encompassing password - not sure it used to be ?

It's nothing to do with cable email ..
