Thanks for the reply, but I don't think it's the clock being out. The other day I waited until dead on 3 PM before starting downloading something and the download speed was 18-19 Mbps for about 25-30 minutes and then my connection speed was cut by 75% for 5 hours. It does suggest that the 3.5 GB evening limit now starts at 3 PM instead of 4. If it is because their clock is out, it's well out!
EDIT - I just got a reply from a mod on the official VM forums about this: -

Hopefully they'll fix whatever is causing it, because it doesn't sound like their traffic management policy has changed based on that response.
