I had a webspace with ntl for the last 10 years no problem.
I recently had a computer crash and called virgin as the old setting wehre not working. they set me up and after 10 houers on the phone i can now upload. however when typing in www.username.webspace.virginmedia.com i can not view my webpages.All i get is error 403. help

I am no wizz kid.When the webside was working i am sure i uploaded the page.However virginlost it all and i just uploaded all my pages. To I have to rename the indext and upload again?

Virgin lost it all ? that doesn't happen, you just haven't spoken to the right person ..

Saying that now, it wouldn't be possible to link it back to your account with the VM one ..

It's been a while since I looked at the customer side, but I'm sure you need either index.html, index.htm, default.html, default.htm in the htdoc folder ..

Have a look for default.htm, if that's there then replace that with your home page ..
