Hi All - I've been away for a week and not accessed myname@blueyonder email.
Came home and first use of Outlook 2007 received messages ok but only one of two messages sent by me went. Since then I get this infuriating login box requesting username and password. I've checked that u/n and p/w are correct and the same as they always were right from my sign up years ago (p/w was the original string of 8 letters issued)
My partner, also using Outlook 2007 has no problem with hername@blueyonder email.
Service status does show a cable issue in my area, due to be resolved by tonight, but 'er indoors is having no problems. I can't get my head around why she is having no problems but I am.
The only change I've made was to virginmedia.com email password (forgot it). Is this likely to impact on my Outlook login details?
Any advice appreciated.
Regards
Thanks for the responses.
It would seem that changing my p/w on my VM email a/c (because I'd forgotten it) resulted in Outlook problems. Entered my new p/w into Outlook verification box and everything is now OK. This action did coincide with Virgin service status problems being resolved
