NTL Email Messed up
What has happened to our email service since it's migration ?
I have used the same NTL email addy for over 20 years but it seems sometime last year a new one was set up for me under another name and has become the primary. I only found this about a month ago.
This is now getting stupid as tonight I had 2 mails from Ebay on my long term account but Paypals confirmation mail and one from the seller ended up in this new webmail account and never arrived in my computers inbox
There seems no uniform delivery some ending up in this new webmail box and others getting through (all are addressed to & supposed to arrive at my long standing email address).
Is there anyone that can offer a suggestion as to what is going on !

I assume the new address is an @Virginmedia address ?
Have you moved home since you setup the NTL ones?

The new address they set up is @ntlworld.com and no I have not moved home.

They being Virgin Media and no it was not one I selected, when I found it it had 3 mails welcoming me to my new virgin media mail around Jun last year and nothing else as I had never used it.
However now logging in to webmail it is the only one I get to.

Would you believe the message that came in from the Cable Forum to my long standing _ account saying you had replied. ended up in the new one instead.

Just got off the phone to a Phil Rogers at Virgin, after a lot of explaining he saw there was a problem and has passed it on to IT
Basically they need to delete the new account they created and make my old one the primary, as luck has it seems my old one is still there.
My wifes account will also be moved over.
He speculated about 7 days to sort it.
The Ticket number is 17109864
Fingers crossed.

That's not an IT ticket reference mate .. could be a work order I guess ..
Ticket ref will be P00... thats zero no o .. so for example
P00493321

If you get the chance, give them another call and see if there is an IT ticket ref .. if you get the ref I can look at the ticket.
