Angry ntlworld.com and virginmedia.com Email help

Hi

I have a 7 ntlworld.com email addresses for me, the kids, wife etc. I recently created a new one became an @virginmedia.com email address. Sadly I wasn't oaying attention and got the spelling wrong, so tried to go and delete it and it wouldn't let me, just sent me to a fault page saying "Sorry this isn't the page you want etc" which does nothing. After talking to email support and then having to ring them 3 times, they said it's because "I have too many email addresses!!" What a load of rubbish. I'm supposed to have 9!
Tried creating another one with the right spelling, same problem. Deleted an old one but still same.
They are supposedly looking into it, but as usual, unless I phone them every day nothing happens. The whole thing stinks now, and I'm fed up. I don't want multiple email providers all over the shop, just the one.
Come on VM, get it sorted please!

Mike

No. The contempt with which they have dealt with this is almost tangible.
Which is a shame because generally things don't seem to go too wrong. But if it's not sorted by Friday, they can poke the whole service.

Only, apparently of you ask. Don't tell the customer, mind. P004067557. Resolve date 18th May apparently. Yeah right.

OK, deleting from MYVM doesn't delete straight away, it disables, to cover you if you delete by mistake.

You have PM.

Re: ntlworld.com and virginmedia.com Email help

What has happened to our email service since it's migration ?
I have used the same NTL email addy for over 20 years but it seems sometime last year a new one was set up for me under another name and has become the primary. I only found this about a month ago.
This is now getting stupid as tonight I had 2 mails from Ebay on my long term account but Paypals cofirmation mail and one from the seller ended up in this new webmail account and never arrived in my computers inbox
There seems no uniform delivery some ending up in one box and others getting through (all are addressed to & supposed to arrive at my long standing email address.
Is there anyone that can offer a suggestion as to what is going on !
Ken
