More email problems!
My Hotmail account is set up to pick up all emails via my blueyonder.co.uk address. For some reason it has stopped receiving any mail after the 9th of May.
I can access my blueyonder account by going to the main Virgin Media web page and logging into email but if I try to access via My Virgin Media I get "Google Apps - Server Error" and the web page as www.google.com/a/ntlworld.com/".
Any idea what is going on? I think I may bite the bullet and switch permanently to Hotmail as the number of problems with Virgin over recent months is getting beyond a joke!

Re: More email problems!
they have recently moved everyone over to the virginmedia email system so you may have to re-configure your POP settings

Re: More email problems!
I've tried changing the pop3 from blueyonder .co.uk to virginmedia.com to no avail.
I seem to have had nothing but trouble with Virgin email over the last 12 months. Will finally take the plunge and just use Hotmail from now on.

i personally use gmail, I have my hotmail, my virgin and another address all using POP mail so they all come to my gmail account, into separate folders for each address. I havnt given out my virgin address to anyone, and its only used to receive adverts from virgin, or, the other week, to contact the CEO office, my hotmail is used for MSN and had to use it for XBOX live, as it had to be hotmail, everything personal I give out my gmail address, I know this is my personal opinion, but I find its a lot easier to just use one email address

I have had no issues with my blueyonder account usig both Outlook 2010 and Webmail as they both just work.
I do though however have my POP3 server set to pop3.virginmedia.com and my SMTP server set to smtp.virginmedia.com and it works perfectly.

If you're connected to Virginmedia you need to use VM's smtp settings ..
If not, you're in the wrong forum ..

Re: More email problems!
Are you able to access your email from another computer/connection?
