Question Blueyonder.co.uk & Virginmedia.com

Is it possible to change our email address say from Blueyonder.co.uk to Virginmedia.com ?

And is it possible for mail sent to the older address to be forwarded to the new one which would be the default address.

Not yet but that is the plan once the email upgrade is complete.

Will it be an auto upgrade from blueyonder.co.uk to virginmedia.com? or will it be something the customer will be required to do?

I've just been on to Email support, and they said it is ok to keep the existing address.

Dan Bayliss has said that all the Primary email addresses cannot be changed and the migration was his project, so all I ever tell customers is no.

Re: Blueyonder.co.uk & Virginmedia.com

Just to be clear if your primary mailbox is masque [at] blueyonder.co.uk then there is no plans to allow that mailbox to be deleted or renamed. In the future you will be able to get masque [at] virginmedia.com providing its available and forward emails from the blueyonder address to the virginmedia.com address.

Thanks Dan that is as you posted in the link above and myself in the post above.

I have no intention of not using my Primary @blueyonder.co.uk email address as I prefer it to the @virginmedia.com address which I have already set up but do not actually use.
