Going Mental

help...very computer illiterate newbie

I have a virgin media account which im am able to log into using my username (which ends in hotmail.com)and password (i am the account holder on the contract details). Problem is this gives me access to the e-mail details of a listed virgin media mail, email address ending in (blueyonder.com). The user of this address is unable to log into this address himself using his own username and password. Hence I have the problem of being able to access someone elses email using my (the account holders details) while he is unable to do it using his own details.

(This is a landlord/tennant relationship between the two parties mentioned)

Any solutions appreciated.

Re: Going Mental

Without looking at the account it sounds like the landlord has an account and you have a mailbox on that account.

For some reason you have set the admin log in to use a personalised address and this log in belongs to him or the other way round.

Smile Re: Going Mental

thanks for your reply. i am the landlord and the was contacted by my tennant saying he was unable to login using his email (.....@blueyonder.co.uk) and password which he had previously been able to do. When i sign into my virgin media account, username (.......@hotmail.com) and then check the details under MY PROFILE the "username and password" and "contact details" relate to myself while the "security details" and "virgin media mail address" are those of my tennant. i want to be able to login into my virgin media account to see bills etc without being able to see my tennants e-mails. he wants to login in using his username (.....@ blueyonder.co.uk) and password as he was able to do previously. The only way my Tennant can currently access his email is to logon on using my username and password.

Appologies if this is a bit rambling, its probably relatively easy to solve (i hope). Is there a contact phone number at virginmedia for this kind of problem as i could find nothing on the website.

Re: Going Mental

Even better, post about it on their facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/virginmedia just post saying you have email issues, they will pick it up officially and pass it over to IT.
