All of a sudden on two different PC's my Contacts list in Virgin gmail display an almost blank window ie list not expanded. Another Gmail account via Google displays correctly however if I click on Old Contact Manager I get the same effect. It appears Virgin Contact Manager is all of a sudden using Old but there is know way of clicking on new; it doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen as an option. Anyone else having this problem? I have just installed IE9 but everything has been working fine for the past few days. As it is happening on my laptop and my Medion seems to suggest prob at the Virgin end.
Thanx guys will try soon and respond; footy just about to start!

No, no blocking sodware. Just to reiterate; have been using VirginGmail for months on two very differently loaded computers but my Contacts problem has manifested itself on both systems. The ONLY change I have made to both systems is to install IE 9; can't be sure if I visited my contacts list immediately after so IE 9 might be the culprit although when I login to my other Gmail account via Google no probs with contact list there.
Loaded Google Chrome onto my laptop and opened Virgin thro this browser. Contact Manager opens fine. So it is down to the Browser it seems although there are some still oustanding puzzling variations.
I think we can say solved......for now. Thanx for contributing and hope this post helps others. Have a good day! Xtopher

Got another solution from another Forum. Click on the Compatibility (broken blue page in URL bar) which apparently 'mends' some strange views. I was on the right track with Chrome ie getting compatible views. Hope this helps others with similar probs - just a single click away! I am a happy bunny now
