BoltBlue no longer after 26th April
Hi,
Wasnt sure where to post this but we've received an email last night stating from BoltBlue that the emails that they took control over from Cable & Wireless are going to be stopping the service from the 26th April 2011.
Has anyone else received this email??

Didnt even realise that service was still operating. C&W probably sold the domain seen as there are other bolt blue services now that might require the email domain. Cant find any news about this though.

Yeh it was still going lol and C&W had transferred it all over to BB years ago but we still kept the email address going as my mother thought it was a simple email address to remember. As you have said I can't find any information about it either, but here's the email we received:

Dear Customer,
IMPORTANT SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
On 26th April 2011 we will be discontinuing email, MyBoltblue and text
messaging services. After this date, you will not be able to access
email accounts, MyBoltblue profiles or send text messages and, to
ensure your privacy, all stored content will be deleted.
If you are an email user, we recommend that you back up all important
data stored in your mailbox and switch to another email provider
before 26th April 2011, as after this date you will no longer be able
to receive or send e-mail using your Boltblue email address.
The closing of these services will not impact other products and
services that are available on our website.
Thank you for using Boltblue. We appreciate all our customers' support
and hope that you enjoyed using these services.
