Can't seem to access webmail
Hi,
I normally go to http://mail.ntlworld.com to access the webmail for my account.
But they are changing it, and it doesn't seem to work.
Is there any other way to access webmail?

It is working now for me
I am now entering my email address as username, but that wasn't working before.

Well the systems are still being worked on until tonight, so there may well be times where it doesn't work

I'm having the same problem. Any idea when this will be rectified please? Sorry, I've tried accessing the status update page but that just says the same as when I try to log in - We're making some exciting changes, etc....

I have not been able to access my inbox either and yes I'm using the full ntlworld.com address.
I'm getting server error on a google page.
Just seen post 5.
Just as well I set up a redirect to my gmail address some time ago seeing as I've always had intermittent access problems to my ntlworld.com address.

Yep the exciting changes are to screw up e-mail for another day for VM's customers, why hasn't the change been backed out as the upgrade has clearly exceeded its planned change window.

Just in case this could help some one. I can't get into my NTL email by my normal route but if I go to http://www.virginmedia.com/ then click on the email icon at top right I get through to the Sign In Page and from there can get into my emails.
NOTE You have to put your full email address where it asks for username.

I can get to my inbox but only through IE.
You know it seems that I have to have at least three browsers to be able to access the internet generally.Only when I've tried 3 browsers and failed can I be certain that there is a genuine fault.

I can't believe I can get in, I am just on Ubuntu and Firefox since having ditched Microsoft and all the hassle it gave me. As a result I am realising how much I actually used IE in the past to double check any access problems.

Yep, same here: no dice getting in through mail.ntlworld.com, but going to virginmedia.com and clicking on "email" worked.

Webmail still down for me. Tried all variations of log-in pages without success. I'm on a Mac running Safari and Firefox. The error states incorrect log-in details but I know I'm entering the correct details, full email address etc.
This VM update has clearly severely overrun into the working day.
Seems odd that VM can break a powered by google system so easily. I'd hoped the move to google webmail would make it bulletproof.
Will keep trying.
