Can't send email

Hi all,
Anyone know of current problems with smtp.ntlworld outgoing server? I can recieve, but wont send emails.

Weird. Not only can I not send mails, but accss to certain sites seems to be problematic (for example, VirginMedia, BBC sports); others (YouTube, for example) are absolutely fine. The same on my girlfriend's lap-top too...
Any ideas?

Do you have somebody who has you home phone number who can try the link, as it asks for you phone no. to get the details.

Thanks Hom3r, finally spoke to VM: it was a localised server issue on the South Coast of th UK. All fine now. Ydoc
