Webmail Filters - date format ?

When creating filters in the webmail inteface, what format are dates supposed to be ?

Ive tried every combination i can think of, nothing works, and I cant find any examples in the help.

Presuming that VM's webmail uses exactly the same process as GMail, filters use the same operators as the search function.

So entering "after:2004/04/16 before:2004/04/18" should locate all messages sent between April 16, 2004 and April 18, 2004.

Google have a crib-list including examples of most of the other operators.
