Can't add email addresses
I just tried to add a new email address. Entered all my username and password the clicked on Manage Household account Email address, username and passwords and the page will not load.
All I get is "The connection was reset"
This is getting annoying I tried to get onto my web space a few weeks ago and got this, now this.

I use firefox, so I tried IE still no joy. But when I tried chrome there was no problem.

The must be a conflict with the other browsers have you tried resetting them back to default.

I had exactly the problem you described above both when using internet explorer and firefox browser and i could not add email addresses and so forth in the end somebody at last at virgin media suggested i try google chrome browser and then try which i did and it worked okay.
I am running windows 7 64 bit and google chrome is the only browser i have found that works with adding emails and passwords ect ect on virgin medias customer zone hope this is of some help to you.

I have tried resetting the other browsers with 3 c/s service reps from vm that did not work either only google chrome does for some reason.

I have just tried to login to Selfcare using IE8, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari all 5 browsers allowed me to login and I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on a 32 bit Dual Core system.

I tried to log into the email change section last night using internet explorer 8 and firefox both did not work,in the end i used google chrome again which did maybe there is a problem somewhere as the last vm c/s rep i spoke to before going mad advised i use google chrome to access though goodness knows what the problem is,could it be the 64 bit version of windows 7 i wonder.
By the way IE8 and Firefox would both let me log into self care but they did not allow me to log into the part where you can change email addresses ie manage accounts or passwords, most of the site though was accessable.

Even vm could not tell me what the problem was! i guess i was lucky enough to hit on a c/s advisor that knew about the solution it was drivng me nuts to not be able to log into the email/password change section,i thought the problem was at my end until i was advised google chrome would work.
Must be a browser problem somewhere along the line though nobody seems to know.

I would always advise trying another browser but I would not stay on the phone while you downloaded the software.
As you can see from my previous post I have the 5 most popular browsers on my machine so that I can check out any issues.

That seems like sound advice and the above has taught me just as you say to check other browsers until then it had not struck me that i had tried two browsers without luck, so i thought the problem was elsewhere.
When in fact another browser did work,no i would not stay on the phone whilst downloading software in general but as i dialed 150 from my virgin phone it cost me nothing.

I know the call is free but a long call on our side is something we try to avoid if at all possible as that is something we are measured on, but usually we can balance them out if and when required.
