Webmail problem
This is a weird question, and a bit illogical but I can't seem to rectify it. When I access my webmail form my desktop and my laptop, there is no problem with reading it. But when I access it through my netbook which runs XP as do my other computers, the email are visble. but all the boxes such as send, delete, archive etc have "cross out" lines through them. I can still action them, but it is a bit off putting and there seem to be lots of these "lines" all over the page. I have looked through the settings but there doesn't seem to be anything there that could solve this "problem"

Re: Webmail problem
It will an issue with the browser on the netbook and not a webmail issue, have you tried resetting the browser or even downloading another browser such as Firefox or Opera to see if you get the same issue.

Re: Webmail problem
No, I haven't tried that but it's the same browser that I use on my other computers, IE8. So shouldn't it operate the same on all machines?

Re: Webmail problem
It could be something particular to that machine so try another browser and let us know if it works normally.

Re: Webmail problem
Ok, I'll try that. I don't use it a lot, just to take away on holiday to check my email, but when I use it next time, I'll try and change browser, and come back here and let you know. Thanks for the help.

Try resetting internet explorer then and it should be fine.

Re: Webmail problem
I did try resetting IE but it came up with the same problem, so I'll stick with Firefox. It seems to be a lot faster anyway . Incidentally, since I have always used IE, are there any security problems I should be aware of with Firefox.ie, does it have security updates like IE?

Firefox constantly bring out new builds and tends to be faster and I use it as my main browser, it is all down to personal choice.
The may be a software conflict on the netbook causing the issue but as long as you are happy with Firefox on the machine then at least you can access your webmail without any issue.
