Some emails not arriving

For over a week now I've been having a problem with some emails not arriving (ntlworld.com). A couple have been rather important.
More than a few have been for PayPal for payment confirmation when buying bits on ebay.
I use Thundebird 3, but they have not been appearing on webmail either.
Any ideas??

Yes, it's the first place I looked.


edit....

Just looked in the Virgin Spam folder (never use webmail - didn't even realise there was a spam folder)
And the emails are in there.

I don't understand why?

The paypal ones are no different from others I've received before - why would it filter them?

Follow the simple instructions here on how to disable the Spam folder.

Thank you masque, but there were 100's of spams in there that I don't want - couldn't believe how good it was at keeping them away.
I did wonder why I wasn't getting so much :-)
I guess I'll have to keep my eye on it just to make sure it keeps on behaving.
I checked this morning and there wasn't anything in there that shouldn't be.

The question still is though - why did it suddenly start filtering some and let the rest through??
