Angry Help - Email Account Hijacked

Hi,

I have blueyonder.co.uk email address which I dont use much. I only have 12 emails in there from 2008.

I happened to log in today - 13 August - and found that there are 1200 emails and also 1230 spam.

It looks like someone has also set up 3 alias email addresses and have been sending out lots of spam email.

I have already deleted the alias accounts and have changed my password.

Is there anything else and how to report to VM?

Many Thanks

Re: Help - Email Account Hijacked

The is not much that Virginmedia can do if your account has been hacked but you will also need to go back into your account and change your profile as they can still gain access if they know your date of birth and your security password, so log back in and change them as well.

Most people forget about the profile and are then confused when their account is hacked again especially by an ex partner.

Ensure that your date of birth is completely different from your own as well as choosing a security question that only you know.
