More email pain in the butt

Hi All - I've had to re-register this morning because the captcha won't accept change password Anyway, I hope someone can help me with this.
After experiencing mega grief because of the original change-over (months ago) I get the following error that started last night + all the user-name/password pop-up every few minutes b*******t.
Error = Task ‘My Name’ – receiving reported error (0x800CCC1A) : ‘Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or ISP for additional assistance.

I haven't specified any 'connection encryption type' or made changes to anything/any settings.
I've rebooted but no improvement, still getting the same error.
How do I change the 'encryption method' and any specific recommendations re what I should change it to?
I'm using Outlook 2007.
Regards.

I had already changed my settings to the new ones and was getting that message the other night. Waited until the next day and everything seems fine again.
