I've got 3 gmail accounts and they never go down here, ntlworld is still not working correctly here.

If it's important to you time to change to something like gmail, i never actively use ntlworld now.

Another update....after a 30 minute wait (at least there is a new facility to select your desired music) a helpful person told me there is a problem this morning with the web mail. He escalted the pop3/smptp problem to reinsitute my orphaned account and then help me access "mail.ntlworld.com" which then allowed me to access the virgin web mail server.

Well it's available by webmail, but not IMAP or SMTP...
I have both ntlworld.com and virginmedia.com - both are unable to connect.

I'm getting the outlook password boxes popup this morning for ntlworld addresses so it's not fixed yet.

Seems we have a few threads running regarding this problem.
Once again it appears to be a Virgin Media front end problem as all my Gmail and Googlemail accounts are working fine. None of the migrated Virgin Media ones are working though.
Shame we have to go through a front end to access our mail instead of direct to Gmail.
