Virgin Spam
Having waited a week for a reply to an online banking query I finally got told by the Halifax bank that VM are now intercepting emails before they get to me and quaranting them in a spam holding area on their server!!!
I logged in to the webmail and sure enough she's right. I, and probably many others, don't use webmail, I only use Outlook. I can't believe they've done this.
To top it all, I'd even checked my webmail online to see if there was any spam folder and couldn't see one so I assumed that wasn't the problem. It turns out it's buried under an option called 4 more. What the hell is 4 more? How are people meant to know that it contains a spam mail folder? And why are they blocking all legitimate emails from all my banks anyway?
Anyway, rant over. All the above can now be deemed rhetorical.
The reason I'm posting is that I can't find out how to turn off this craziness. Does anyone have the scoop on how to turn off the Spam Filter? I've been through all the settings and can't find it.
