virgin email via outlook

virgin email via outlook

can any user please tell me if their is a problem with outlook express. I have set up my virgin mail but i can not send any email i can recive my email but are unable to send any. I have set up using these setting can any one help/

Incoming Mail Server : mail.virgin.net

Ougoing Mail Server : mail.virgin.net:

If it's the same as ntlworld accounts the incoming mail server would be: pop.virgin.net and the outgoing mail server: smtp.virgin.net

it must be catching,i have the same problem with blue yonder....they say its my machine,well can they tell me why it works fine when i use my Live.co.uk email but when i use theirs it keeps rejecting password.They confirm my user name and password are correct but i cant get it to accept.......this seems to be a popular problem .....so has anybody got the definitive answer.help help help Iforget to say that due to virus problems,have had to wipe and reinstall all my machine.i have put on avg free...is that the problem?

I don't know how they confirmed your password they can't see it.
