Browsing problem

This is driving me nuts!

I am trying to get on to the TWOP website (www.televisionwithoutpity.com) and it just will not load, and its been like it for a couple of days. Every other site I try works fine.

I've spoken to a couple of other people who say the site is working fine for them.

In firefox I just get a blank page and in IE7 it loads an ad at the top of the page then hangs.

I've tried clearing the cache which did nothing. Anyone got any bright ideas?

Re: Browsing problem

Works for me.

When did it last load for you and did you change anything since?

Have you scanned your computer for adware, malware, viruses and any other malicious code that may be blocking that site?

Have you tried to uninstall Firefox and reinstalling?

Re: Browsing problem

You should be able to access it by using http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html

To get to the route cause of the issue you will need to try to "tracert" to the site and see where the traces stop...

Re: Browsing problem

Thanks for that, I can get onto the site with it!

The 'tracert' thing is a bit beyond my knowledge - what do I need to do?

Re: Browsing problem

It looks like you are actually reaching the site, so it must be something at your end that's causing problems. Try clearing the browser cache and try the site again.

Your 1st hop on the trace is to the sites IP address so it does look like an issue your end...

Try doing a "route print" (from cmd) to see if any of them match the address above.
