Trouble receiving emails from talktalk addresses?

Just wondered if anyone was having trouble receiving emails from friends on talktalk...two people have tried to email me this week, both talktalk users I haven't received either emails...weird!

Had no trouble receiving other emails at all.

Re: Trouble receiving emails from talktalk addresses?

This might explain it.

I was not able to access any of my websites this morning until after 11am and when I eventually queried this with my host provider part of his reply was:
Quote:
For about 5 hours today large amounts of the UK internet could not be seen by any NTL/VirgnMedia customer - problems at LINX meant traffic would have had to be routed through other connections and NTL/VM simply dont have the capacity to cope with what they've sold clients through any other routes, so access was - well to put it midly - complete cr@p this morning.
If this is true it could explain your problem, presuming all is OK now of course.

In any case it would be good to know from Virgin what they are doing to resolve this capacity problem
