Red tools is only really for EX-NTL as it does not work 100% for EX-Telewest, but is still useful.

From experience of using our many diagnostic systems (I am dual skilled, primarily Ex NTL, but also handle Ex BY).

1, ISA is ok, but not that great & gives incorrect info occasionally.
2, Red tools has a messy layout & is missing the ping results from Bluetools
3, Bluetools has most of the info needed,but takes an age to report.
4, (old style) DTV Stats, gives the length of time since the modem was last rebooted & the mac address of the connected equipment (great for diagnosing duff enet cables & ports), and it does it very quickly.

so all in all, no one system gives all the info that we need, but between them we get enough to get the job done.
