Got an email from 'Admin' just now telling me that my mailbox is approaching its limit. I've cleared my emails as much as possible. Is it possible to see now how much of my email quota is used? Before deleting emails; Quota Type: bytes in the mailbox Quota Available: 11531686 Total Quota: 31457280 TIA
Thanks for that but after logging in to webmail for the first time, (I normally use Thunderbird), it showed no messages, sent messages or anything showing me how much mail I have used. Oh well.
In webmail click on Options then Index Order
You should see Size with Add beside it
Click on Add
Go back to Inbox
Each mail will have the size beside it.
When you open Thunderbird any mail in webmail
will be downloaded to Thunderbird, emptying your
mailbox unless you have it set to leave a copy on the
server which I doubt given you had no mails when you
logged into webmail.
If the mailbox almost full limit mesage came from VM you possibly
had a large email sitting in webmail but hadn't yet opened
Thunderbird prompting the mail from VM.
You fixed it by opening Thunderbird and retrieving mail.
Thanks for your reply moaningmags. I tried again just now and saw some emails from today but they only came to around 10kb. There were some with large attachments before and those have now been deleted.
