Serious problem receiving e-mails

I am having a serious problem receiving emails.
I only intermittently have received emails sent directly to my **********@blueyonder.co.uk address since last Thursday, the 31st January. Most email I normally receive is forwarded from mr@f*******r.org.uk or mr@a*********s.com which each are set up separately with different services to forward all emails to *********@blueyonder.co.uk Neither forwarding arrangements have worked since Thursday. This appears to have become a problem around the same time virgin media reported a nationwide problem with delays in emails. I normally receive about 200 emails a day. Now I receive about 6 a day, and half of these are ones I send to myself to check if the system works, and they are usually delayed. The remaining emails are usually spam, and about one a day people who have received emails from me replying to the blueyonder.co.uk reply address.

Mod edit (Gavin): To protect you from spam and data mining, I have censored your email addresses.

Re: Serious problem receiving e-mails

Update-
It seems that a new Virgin Media Server with a new filter system has been over sensitive and blocked all my forwarded emails, either sending them back to the initial sender or dumping them. I have queried Virgin Media if those dumped can be retrieved or are they lost forever. Loosing almost a weeks traffic of my emails can be rather damaging. I was supposed to get an update by 5pm, but this has not happened.

Re: Serious problem receiving e-mails

If these are important emails, why are you not using a proper paid-for service?

Re: Serious problem receiving e-mails

These are paid for services. The services which registered my domains and forward the emails are paid for and have carried out these services without problem. The Virgin Media email server is part of the service I purchase from Vrigin Media, but unfortunately this service has been faulty.

The Virgin e-mail server is provided free as part of your broadband service and is designed to operate virgin e-mail addresses only

Re: Serious problem receiving e-mails

Although it may be possible for me to log on directly for the other domains (I have never done this before and shall need to find out how), it still does not explain why the forwarded emails are rejected, and therefore the VM email address seems not to receive emails sent to me at the VM email address, albeit forwarded from the other domains.

The concept that the VM email service is free is meaningless. Can I get this service without subscribing to VM internet services, and can I subscribe without paying? It is not free.

It is free in the respect that no charge is made for it seperate to the rental of you broadband access.

my provider, be internet, charge extra for e-mail services, therefore their e-mail is not free
