SPAM ~ increasing levels

I have ntl mark SPAM as such and deliver it to my "inbox" for my SPAM software to deal with.

I have noticed that, since December, levels of SPAM have increased by a factor of four or five times!

Anyone any ideas why this is happening?

From what to what? I get about 100 spam messages per day in each of various accounts, and think that is a lot. Fortunately SpamBayes is very good at "learning" how to recognise new varieties of spam.

Re: SPAM ~ increasing levels

I only get the odd bit of spam to my ntl address, which is impressive considering it's the one I have in the Whois database.

As I administer my own mailserver I ensure I don't get any spam to my own email addresses. GMail also has good spam filters.

How much spam does your mailserver filter out? IIRC, something like 99% of emails are spam. Would you agree?
