Question Cookie problem

I have developed a cookie problem (only recent changes to pc are windows & firewall updates).

I'm running XP professional, IE7, CA security centre.

The problem is particularly noticable on this site & my google home page, both of which insist I login every day (I turn the computer off each night).

Although there were no problems before the last few weeks I have now changed some settings to see if they help - but have had no joy.

In IE7 I have added both sites to the managed sites section in the privacy section of Internet Option tools.

In CA firewall I have also added both sites to the managed section, allowed all cookies for these sites, only blocking third party cookies for all other sites and not ticked the box expiring cookies.

Any ideas? Anyone else having issues recently?

Re: Cookie problem

Any thing else changed recently, such as any specified proxy settings in your browser. They have been turning off a number of cache servers lately, culd that possibly be it?

Re: Cookie problem

Have realised the problem is only on my laptop - not on the desktop. This would seem to make it the firewall (running different firewalls, but same OS). Have sent email to firewall company - anyone else using CA Firewall having problems?
