Question Hosting a forum with my NTL web space?

Is it possible to use my NTL web space to host a web site that includes things like a discussion forum? I'm part of a World Of Warcraft guild, and we'd like to have a dedicated web site, as we're currently using a forum that's hosted on another site that is less than reliable.

Alternatively, if I can't host it on the NTL sites, can I host a web server on a dedicated computer over my BB connection? Would the speed of the site be adversely affected by the lower upload speed?

Finally, would we be better off using a dedicated web hosting service?

Thanks .

To answer the original question - AFAIK, no. Forums rely on scripting and other fancy web widgets that NTL won't allow you to put on your webspace.

Re: Hosting a forum with my NTL web space?

From the looks of things, I think we would be better off getting some dedicated web space, as wwe could have our own domain name, forums, email and other web space, whereas those other sites look like they are only forum hosting, which is pretty much what wwe have already.

Thanks for the help .
