Question Access to site from home

Does anyone know what could be causing the problem that I have..I can access the site from work ( which I am now doing ) but cannot access it from home. I have tried various browsers but they all come back with the same error " cannot connect to server". This message only appears for this site any others I can access no problem.

To date I have tried disabling my firewall and anti-virus, stopped the popup blocker and enabled most things that i can see but the problem still exists.

This problem only started when I changed my motherboard and processor and formatted my drive and reloaded the OS which is XP with service pack 2.

Has my IP been blocked from the site ?

Re: Access to site from home

Could be a proxy problem.

You could start off though clearing your internet cache,

I'll look for the link to the proxy list.

Well using a proxy works fine but if I revert back to the normal settings I can't access the site so I have left the proxy settings on.

Thanks to the 2 poster for the help, I can now get back to browsing from home again.

Re: Access to site from home

Assuming you were using a proxy, and have changed proxy to solve this problem, make sure you do report the issue to ntl faults so they can work out why the proxy you were on failed.
