Question E-Mail Delivery Status Errors
Over the past two weeks, I have been receiving numerous e-mail delivery errors, suchs as this one: -

The following message to <anthonyennis@hfx.andara.com> was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.1 - Bad destination email address 'ldap reject'


They seem to appear in groups of about 10 in a short space of time.

As far as I am aware I do not have any viruses, well Nortom tells me I have nothing.

Has someone spoofed my e-mail address, which is the reason why I am receiving these error messages.

Should I be concerned about this?

More likely to be someones attempt to see if your address is live, if you haven't sent the email then delete the warning and ignore them.

No, but I would double check all your anti-virus and anti-spyware software is up to date and run a sweep with each of them just to make sure.

I can tell you that they're in Halifax, Nova Scotia using the ISP Andara
(haven't seen that name in aaaages)

There were also ones from what was Russia, in particulat Kiev, which is in the Ukraine.

I run spyware last week with no problems and my anti-virus was clear last Friday when it was run, which was between the two incidents.
