Web site space

Dear all,

For the last 2 days I have been unable to access my website which is hosted on NTL webspace.

The message "Forbidden" appears, and I can not log in to it using FTP either?

I have not made any changes at all, it just simply stopped working?

My site is: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/online.gaming/

Can anyone please advise?

Many thanks!

Chris.

Re: Web site space

I assume it was working fine before now? Was there anything on there that was against the T&C by any chance? They may have forcibly removed it...

You may have been better posting in this section - http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/forumdisplay.php?f=31

Although, dont do it now as you'll get your wrists slapped for double posting... I'm sure someone will move it shortly.

Re: Web site space

Hi, quick replies

I haven't contacted NTL yet, I'm still willing to give it time to 'sort itself out' ?

I hosted my own game on the site which I doubt there would be any issues with T&C?

Re: Web site space

Hi Mick,

The game file was just over 1MB, not large at all.

Does it appear that my webspace has been disabled for some reason? =O !

Re: Web site space

Could of been, looks like a permissions issue to me - but your best bet is to contact ntl and ask them what the score is.

Re: Web site space

Hi,

Problem is now resolved, just want to say thanks for the quick responces

A long time ago I changed my account username to "crseast" but the ftp details and web address remained as "online.gaming" so I had been using that for a few months, where as recently something must have updated and set it to what it should have been.

Shame I didn't think of trying to connect with any other details..

Technical support / customer services get my vote anyway - they even upgraded my speed to 1mb

Cheers all!
