NTL email server IP address

Anyone know what the IP address for the ntlworld email server is?
I need it to setup my home servers email client

Incoming email server is pop.ntlworld.com
Outgoing is smtp.ntlworld.com

You wouldn't usually want to use a fixed IP address. If ntl's server dies, gets replaced, or whatever techno stuff they get up to, your connection would die, permanantly. The dns name though for the server will correct itself.

Regarding the fixed smtp IP I thought Gaz had been at the cooking sherry but

Well we do know he didnt buy the sherry at NTL

I bought my South African 14% 'soft red' wine from Tesco

otherwise those ip's were returned when I pinged the pop & smtp servers at ntlworld.com

I used 'sam spade' for the ping
