and so the title speaks for itself ^.^

i want to learn XML and Python (and apparently CSS and XSL go along with XML or something like that, so i'll take that too...), and heh, well, it sounds like i'm jumping in over my head, but i really really wanna learn, b/c python seems simple and i can use XML to mod Civ 4, among other uses later, oh, and i have no idea what python's used for (besides modding Civ 4, haha), so yeah, i'm a newbie that wants to go somewhere and has no idea where i need to go to start

so does anyone have any good suggestions on what books or something to get to start learning XML and Python (and, if needbe, CSS and XSL too)?
