I am sure I am inputting all info correctly. I do have an update (completely useless) from NTL tho'. It goes:

There appears to be a fault on the system that is causing your problem, we are aware of the issue and have people working towards a resolution, unfortunately i do not have a time or date as to when this will be resolved
