As noted earlier, phoned Wednesday and spoke to CR - very helpful - matched TalkTalk. Said that someone would be in touch to install a Cable Modem. No phone call but NTL Engineer called in today and set it up (luckily MrsB was in!). So, in theory, now have 10MB for Ã‚Â£10 - result (though doesn't seem much faster?). Will call next week to ensure it has been applied to my account (as would not pay Ã‚Â£35 for this - I was reasonably happy paying Ã‚Â£10 for 1MB until the market went much faster!).
