Do you mean change the search from 'local' to 'distant' or 'DX'? I have found that these options are a function of the transmitter's physical distance from you and it's output power. My nearest transmitter is only about 10 miles away but it is a very low-power 'fill in' transmitter intended to provide for one town that sits in a valley, so it shows as DX for me. |
Yeah - distant. Only Waltham and Nottingham (both closer, but shielded by hills) appear in the local search.
But in the distant one, as well as Belmont (which is fine) I also get Sutton Coldfield, Emley Moor :o and Sandy Heath (big :o ) neither of which are obtainable.
You could say because of the flatness of the land in between, Belmont is one hell of a freak that it reaches Nottm so easily.
