Hey now, supporting opression and trampling over the human rights of over a billion people is something to be proud of.

I'm actually kinda torn on this. Google are a private company, they can do what the hell they like legally and I support that.... but its not really a decent, ethical nor moral thing to do.

It is peverse though. Google was co-founded by a Russian Jew. You'd think state oppression and censorship was something he'd be touchy about supporting.
Actually, I agree. As a private company, Google do have the right to do what they want (as long as it's legal). It's just I don't see how a company that was apparently set up to enable people to find information easily can justify censoring info to keep a government happy.
