You didnt read it properly, I said 3KB/s per person, not the connection.


I am getting a dedicated server but I need to know how much it uses so I can work out the bandwidth I need. I already know where Im getting one from, its just a case of working out the bandwidth costs.

Also, this server will be used for web hosting as well and is fully self managed. I hate not having full control

EDIT: Server specs Im getting will be:

AMD 64 3000+
1GB RAM
2x 80GB HD's
Win 2k3
10Mbps uplink
1TB bandwidth
for £56 a month.

Yes, 1TB is a lot but you need to remember I want to host a lot of websites as well. I intend to make a profit from this. I already have most things worked out.
