BT ends paperless billing discount

So if you were getting the discount for opting for paperless bills. then give them a call and tell them you want the paper bills back that you're now paying for.

No because they will charge extra for that .Paperless billing will now be concidered the default option ,having a paper bill will cost extra

Re: BT ends paperless billing discount

No because it was costing them money sending out paperbills. that's why they gave you the option to save them money.

now they will be keeping the money and saving money on top of that. if many people want the paper that was originally explained as a cost saving discount. and if they do charge extra as well as the extra people are now paying by the discount being withdrawn. then it will be obvious that they are profiteering from it.

having the attitude that "I won't make a fuss because.." is the wrong one Marty. you have to stand up for yourself and be counted. not lie down and be trampled on

I'm not going to lie down and be trampled on ,i can just see what they will do .You can keep the discount however .If you pay a full years line rental up front then you benefit from the line rental saver deal of about £50 a year ....but you have to keep E billing

Quote:
Anyone who was on our paper-free discount could benefit from our Line Rental Saver deal. You can cut your line rental from £14.60 a month to £10 a month by paying upfront for a year. That's over £50 a year off your bill. Sign up here.
(you have to stick to e-billing.)

am i correct in thinking that the line rental saver deal was already in place ?
if so it's not realy a saving if the customer already used paperless billing and the rental deal

so we lose the discount and use more printer ink..... yeah right.i just keep mine on the pc backed up to my ext HD no need to print at all

demanding that BT send out paper bills at their expense as Gary suggests is one answer but i fear they will add a charge to do that rather than include it in the price as they used to do

Its ****, so is life. As per usual the company can do what it wants when it wants while the customers funding it have no say.
