Samsung SG2 Screen cracked

I was woken up this morning by the mrs saying she had cracked the screen on her phone by dropping the alarm clock on it, what I want to know is she doesn't have insurance with Orange or anyone but the phone is only 2 months old, will Orange fix it for a fee I am guessing, any help would be great.

The SGS2 has Corning Gorilla Glass so it must be a Lead-weight of an alarm clock to even mark it?

I would suggest you do a

and see if its a known fault, if so you can take it to the orange shop and request a replacement.

Also its worth seeing if its covered on your household contents insurance for accidental damage as even that would be cheaper than a new phone.
