Call Forwarding (Virtual Number) to Mobile / Landline

Hi. I'm looking for a "Virtual" number (UK code 01554 or 01639 to redirect to my Mobile & /or House phone.

I have tried looking at a few options, but some of the sites I looked at are not that good, looks like a scam lol.

Anyone recommend a good service?

My friend has 0800 Number (via Ring Central) but they dont do UK numbers only 0800.

Need a cheap way to get a UK Number for Office / Sales line. Not BT Line & pay £13-17 month.

Cheers

I've used Sipgate.co.uk on five devices over the last four years - they're not a scam.
I make and receive calls on my 01225- number on my Android mobile over both wifi and 3G at a fraction of the cost of my carrier's rates.

I'm surprised voip hasn't caught on, especially for mobiles!

Dont want a VIOP. I use Sipgate for calling Oz & USA.

I need a way for client to ring: 01554 xxx xxx & it will ring my Moibile or House Phone (depends what I've setup & say 9-5 home, other mobile).

Re: Call Forwarding (Virtual Number) to Mobile / Landline

Well, VOIP will do that - is there a specific reason you don't want VOIP?

Not sure if Sipgate can do the forwarding - I only use it as a voice mailbox - but I'm pretty sure Skype can. The only question would be whether you can create smarter forwarding rules than just 'I'm not logged in', but even if you can't you could just install Skype on your mobile and turn it off when you want the calls to go to your forwarding number.
