Britain's Advertising Standards Authority said on Wednesday Orange's claim that its 3G network covered more people than Britain's other networks was likely to mislead consumers.

Re: Orange told to pull UK ad claiming best 3G network
Unfortunatly we're with orange and whilst 3g coverage is mostly reasonable there is urine poor coverage where my wife works so when she tries to call me the quality of the call is so poor we just give up trying even though she has full signal (bars) We're tied into a contract for another 12 months so a bit stuffed really.

Thats because 3 has the widest coverage, soon T-Mobile and Virgin customers will be as well, Orange customers will have to wait a while before they can start taking advantage of the merged 3/T-Mobile 3G network.

Re: Orange told to pull UK ad claiming best 3G network
I think Everything Everywhere will flop, Everyone is complaining about poor service and the reception from 3 is getting better, 3's deals are very good, I can see a massive jump here. O2,3 and Vodafone will launch a price war against Everything Everywhere and that will bring Everything Everywhere back down to 19 to 20 Million subscribers again, when it comes to home broadband, again, its dwindling, Virgin Media,BT and O2 hold all the cards here .
Over next 2 years, I think the market will be like this:
Vodafone: 17 Million Subscribers
O2: 20 Million subscribers
3: 6 Million Subscribers
Everything Everywhere incl Virgin: 26 Million Subscribers
I don't like the way France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom have been allowed to do this.
There was also rumours that BT is looking into building a proper network not a virtual one.
